Lump above laparoscopic incision

I had a hemorrhagic cyst remoed a week ago via laparoscopy. Above the incision line, pubic region, there is a hard painful lump. My sister is an RN and said she doesn't think it's a hernia. Anyone else have this happen? I see the Dr. Thursday. I know that after the procedure the Dr. said that the incision, pubic region, had to be larger than normal for him to get the cyst out.
