Happy birthday to both of you....See! I knew there was a reason I waited until tonight to post my birthday wishes. Judie, I am so glad to see you have turned "blue" (Jan, you can see, I have taken over the crusade!)...it makes it easy to follow posts and it is nice, too, if you want to send messages to one another. And, to Conquerer, it is so nice to see you posting. Consider going "blue" ( I know that sounds funny) but I did and I never thought I would. I have a bit of a stubborn streak in me (I prefer to reframe that to "persistent").

Judie I am so glad your husband was able to fake his way through dinner.  Perhaps Thursday will be a little more festive if he is feeling better.  It is not such a bad way to celebrate your birthday...stretching it out over a week.  Hey, people should be glad you were born and that's what a birtday celebration is.

Conquerer:  I wish you wouldn't be so bashful.  You should show up more.  Happy Belated Birthday.  I hope you were able to enjoy it and I am glad that you are appreciating how nice it is to get a year older.  I will be doing that soon myself and don't mind one bit.  I do hope you see tons more and that they all are joyous.

I too turned 55 on mar 2  a year and a half ago i wasn't sure i would see this birthday  now i believe i will see many more.

Thank you for your birthday wishes.  I had a great day...just being lazy with my wonderful husband and watching old movies.  I made US a great birthday dinner.  He was recuperationg from the flu and was a good sport and told me he tasted everything (I doubt that).  On Thursday we will celebrate again with the kids and grandchildren.  I feel truly blessed. (And this week-long reminder that I'm another year older is not so bad after all)

Marty, Leslee is so lucky to have you. Birthday wishes and love to her for many happy returns of the day and a wonderful year ahead.

Happy Birthday Judie, hope it is a fun day for you. Leslee was born on the 7th of March,  I will be taking her a rose, a balloon and lunch into work. She loves Salmon Patties and creamed potatoes, her family doesn't like the Salmon so she never gets them. Her daughters have arranged a full day the 8th with a massage, a movie and dinner out. I got her 3 bottles of Amish wine , all Red, Helen.  She was my first baby, waited 5 years for her, so she is special to me.  Taurus  is a strong sign.

You're so kind to keep track of this. I never thought I'd be so proud and excited to get older, but given the alternative, I am thrilled!  TODAY is my birthday, and I thank God that He has allowed me to see yet another one.  Happy Birthday to anyone else who turns a year older today and to ALL you March ladies - you rock!
