But if you go to it, you will have to let us know if you find anything encouraging for us. How are you doing? I saw you mentioned some pain from a nodule but I didn't respond cause I don't have that "yet". I hope it's not too bad for you. Take care, Helen

Hey there kid...where do you live?  I am about 9 hours from Chicago. I think.....Anyway, this is definately something I am interested in.  I intend to register to attend.....thank-you so much for the info!

I would like to get away for this also, but can't plan that far ahead right now.  I can get there in about 4 hours. We should know by then if this clinical trial is going to work or not. I met a 12 year survivor today , surgery and no chemo,   she told me all the changes she made in her diet and what suppliments she took.  Amazing woman.  66 years old and looks in her 40ts. She gave credit mostly to the  immune system boosters , raw veggies and fruits, meat 2 times per week, 3 once limit,  yogurt,  dried cranberries for snacks, no refined sugar, 1/2 cup of nuts per day, Barley soups, Essiac tea, and Vit C.  She says she eats a balanced diet  and just adds these things daily.  I know this wouldn't work for everyone, but I was so empressed with her vitailty.  I am going to add these things to my diet so that perhaps I can ward off cancer in the years to come.

Hi,  Live in NJ  but also spend a great deal of time in Long Island NY.   I will not be attending the conference in Chicago.  I posted it to make people aware of it.  But I do have some news,  they are working on a vacine in Conn.  but it is only developed on the persons first debulking and than injected when they are clear later.   They only have 12 people on it so far,  but no results.
Where are you guys in Long Island and etc.

We would love if you would join us at our NOCC (National Ovarian Cancer Coalition) meetings.  They are the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Syosset Library.  We have a support group that begins around 630-645 first then the general meeting begins around 730ish.  We have a great group and are working on some great programs to help raise awareness, promote education as well as fund raising events to help with research.  Freshair (Helen) and I are both members.

Would love to see you there.  I spend most of my time in Southwest Suffolk County.

I saw your post about a vaccine in Conn.  I live in Conn and have not heard of it.  Do you happen to know at which hospital/facility it is being used/tested at?  Thanks, and hope you are doing well. Judie :)
