Need a diagnosis for menstrual problems

by teen mom, Oct 05, 2002 12:00AM
I am 22 and just had my son in December of 2000. Approximately three months later I had a cervical biopsy done because of abnormal cells found. I have not had a period since. The doctor did an ultrasound and did not find any blood pockets in my uterus, but he said my cervix was scarred shut. Every month for three days at the same time I have all of the symptoms of my menstrual cycle, but they are much more intense. I have tremendous cramps and tenderness in my stomach area, feel nauseated, have headaches, feel sore all over my whole body, and I am very moody. This month I thought I felt cysts on both sides of my stomach area. I take up to three ibuprofen and this just allows me to function halfway. The tenderness is so bad that no pressure can be put on my stomach for those three days. I have also been having persistent headaches for about two months and lymphnodes under my arm keep getting swollen. I have a few questions.
1. Is it possible that the surgeon doing biopsy did something wrong?
2. If the only thing wrong with me is my cervix being scarred shut, where is the blood from my menstrual cycle going?
3. Is there a possibility that the headaches and swollen lymphnodes are occuring because of my lack of menstrual cycle?
4. Does the tenderness mean that there is blood in my uterus?
5. If I have cysts, are they are result of my lack of menstrual cycle or s possible cause?
