I just wanted to say thanks for posting me in regards to my previous post about the Mirena IUD, or removal of Uterus.
Nikki I hope that you have made it to the Doctor.
Mickey Vickey do you mind me asking what kind of Endo you have? Did you have bad hipHip joint replacement Hip pain pain before it was treated? My hipHip joint replacement Hip pain pain is now occuring most of the time, its so painfulPainful menstrual periods, Do you know if that can be related to Endo? I read something about Sciatic Endometriosis. Sorry to ask so many questions, but I'm not getting anywhere with my Gyno and need to find a new one. As for the Mirena I don't think that its the right option for me.
Good for you for going to another gyn. We need to be proactive in our healthcare. Sometimes it is the only way that we will get the treatment we need and deserve. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Godspeed

Hi, No I haven't made an appt yet but I'm sitting here reading posts & I know that I should but to be honest reading the posts scares the sh-t out of you regarding surgery. I think that my dh is healed enough so that I need to worry about me now so I'm going to make myself call the Cleveland Clinic Florida and see if they take my insurance & if so than I'll make an appt. I'm going to post & see if anyone on here has gone there... Did you find another doctor yet? Take care :)
Thank you Tascha, you are so thoughtful, maybe you will bring me (and all the other Cysters )some good luck. I hope you are well, and still playing lots of Softball.
Oddly, prior to my surgery, I had no idea that I have endometriosis. I thought that I and I alone, of all the women in my family, had avoided that great pestilence that plagues my female relatives! Not so, but fortunately I did not suffer from my condition. I am not certain why, as my doctor assures me that I have one of the worst cases she's ever seen. But we have firmly established that I have one heck of a high pain tolerance.
However, I can tell you that hip pain can be a symptom of endometriosis. In fact, as with an ovarian cyst, the pain can radiate down the hip into the upper thigh, as well as around into the lower back area. More than one woman in my family was thought to have arthritic hips and lower backs, only to reach menopause or have a hysterectomy and learn the pain was only due to a 'female complaint.'

Nikki Poo, It's time that you put yourself first. Your Health is important. I hope that your Husband is getting better. Is there anyone that can help you look after him whilst you get your own health issues solved? Good luck with the Clinic, try and make an appointment before the weekend. I hope that they take your Insurance. I don't understand how the Insurance system works in the U.S.Please let me know how you go.
I can't wait until we are all pain free from these issues.
Take care
Kate
