Number of Treatments

My 69 year old mother has been diagnosed with stage Ic ovarian cancer. Her surgery was performed by a gyn-onco. He told me that that she would be receiving 3-6 taxol-carbo treatments. He said it was up to us to decide on the number of treatments. He also informed us that their is a study being conducted that examined the effect of 3 vs 6 treatments with people with stage 1C ovarian cancer. My mothers perinial washings were negative. Can you please inform me if any results of that study have been published. Also how many cycles of treatment would you recommend.
