OLARPARIB is the new wonder drug

hello everyone
i would just like to confirm that there is a new wonder drug it is a PHARP INHIBITOR which is designed for cancer patients who have genetic disorders i have been on this drug for 2 years and i have not looked back, it has shrunk all my tumors back to hardly nothing , i have the BRACA 2 mutation that is the good news.
the bad news is that the trial that i have been on is only running from the uk, they are just starting the phase 2 trials of this drug and it will not be available to everyone for another 4 years
i do not know why it has to take another 4 years to be made available seeing as all the doctors are shouting out loud about it.i think every one should have a fair chance in life.

I think there is a trial going on for the this in Bethesda, Maryland ... Sharon (Bohan) is checking into it, I believe.

PS:  I do not carry the gene ... but YEA for those that do .. finally, something promising.

Is this only for women with the mutation?  My Mom had the genetic test and it came out negative for mutation.  From what I remember there are two genetic tests for this mutation.  Her first test was negative and the geneticist said most likely the second, more complicated test, would be negative as well.  Please advise.
thanks

Please tell us more! This is very exciting for those of us battling this disease.  What side effects did you have? Are you still involved with the Trial? What is the status? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Were you dx in 2002? Wow!

I'm wondering if we can go to the UK to get access to this drug????
