The surgeon could not remove this tumor 5cm top of liver under diaphram would have been 5 more hours. How is this treated? He said Chemo but I thought chemo was really good on small tumors. Any thoughts on this?
Chemo should shrink the tumor. If it works, it works on all tumors. It may not make them go away but it can shrink them and make them easier to remove at a later time if the Dr thinks that is what need to to be done. You might ask him if he thinks that the chemo will shrink the tumor. Many times they will even go away with the chemo. Speak to her DR and see what he has to say.
