On recovery side

Good morning to all.  Well, I am on the recovery side--discharged yesterday and extremely sore.  It is good to be home and I am taking it very easy.  Hopefully I will find something to do with my extra time--I'm already bored.  Thank you all for listening and the encouragement to not give up.  P.S. by the way, everything inside was fine and the tumor was benign.

Thank you, I will definitely take it easy.  I did buy a heating pad and some GasX--glad I did because those gas pains can be grueling.  I also have Percocet, but I don't want to get too attached to it--nurse recommended Ibuprofen also which helps take the edge off.  Anyway, glad to be home--in sunny San Diego (it's a little warm) so I'm trying to stay cool.  Again thank you all and hope all of you are having a great day:)

Welcome the RS, and congratulations on the great report.  Now is the time to take it easy and let others wait on you.  Get lots of rest, and let your body heal.  If you have problems with gas pains, try drinking some hot tea and take some GasX.  Also, putting a heating pad on your stomach may help a little with the soreness.  Hope all continues to go well.  Kasie

Congrats on your good news - I'm glad everything turned out to be benign. Please take it easy through your recovery. I know you will have days where you feel great, but don't over do it - it will catch up with you! No suggestions about what to do for boredom - I tried everything from crocheting a blanket (I made 2 actually!) to puzzles - I think I've aged from 27 to 90! The time will go quicker than you think.... Take care!
