Anyone out there know how "nasty" oral Cytoxan can be or is it not so bad. It might be added to the Avastin I know get IF the Avisten doesnt stop my CA125 from rising. Always thinking ahead but try not to look too far ahead. My best to everyone
Depends on the dose your on. Cytoxan (also called cyclophosphamide) is what I am on along with my Avastin. I take one 50mg pill each day - no breaks. I have had little to no side effects...I still have my hair, and my only real complaint is if I take my dose late, I get a headache. I always take it right after lunch and with plenty of water so as not to irritate my bladder, which can happen. I feel pretty good....(knock on wood) I guess I keep waiting for something to go wrong!
