Ovarian CA survivor

I had stage 1C ovarian cancer in 1994.  I had chemo and will be celebrating 20 years post cancer this summer.  Survival rates fro women diagnosed with 1c are as high as 96% at 5 years, meaning 96% of women diagnosed with 1c will make 5 years.  With ovarian cancer, making 5 years cancer free is a huge milestone.  Also, women diagnosed at a younger age generally do better.  Good Luck, I'm sure she will do well.

This discussion is related to Stage 1c ovarian cancer.
