Ovarian Cancer - urgent

Hello to all.
I am very concerned about the recent developments of the cancer that my mother has, so I really need your help. She was operated with ovarian cancer in December 2003. She had a round of 5 chemo therapies with Cysplatinum and Taxol. Almost everything seemed good, and her tests were normal.
However in May 2005 she had a severe pelvic pouring out (hell, I don

My advice, for whatever it is worth, is to discuss with her doctor, in greater detail, the doctor's thoughts on changing the chemotherapy regimen.  Some cancers do not respond well to certain chemotherapies, and some patients simply cannot tolerate some treatments.

Thanks. The problem is that I've read that some time (5-6 months) is required in order to know for sure if the cancer is resistant to a certain kind of therapy. Now this is new, change of the therapy only after 3 weeks ... Anyways - thank you.
