Ovarian Cancer In The News

Just want to share, OvCa has made the news today talking about symptoms and early detection.  I saw a spot on the Today Show this morning but am unable to find the link.  I have posted the link to the article in the NY Times and for Good Morning America as they too did a spot this morning.

I too had the same symptoms and kept pointed them out to the gyn...I also changed my diet cause I thought I had an ulcer..I had to ask to be tested for mono, ulcer, hep and for my breathing problem, asked for chest xray, test for bronchitis, pneumonia and other lung related problems...I did find some info online about these being possible symptoms of OC and had to point them out to my GYNO by the time she dx me with stage 4 clear cell adenocarcinoma.  Have forwarded the article to my ONC who is a professor at the medical school that I am being treated at so that she can update her students on these same symptoms that I kept complaining about!

Thank you for your posting, I too was searching for article, as I've been complaining of all of these symptons for several months now.   With the recent news of my being diagnosed w/ ovarian cancer stage 3-c, sub type clear cell, I can't help wondering if I too shouldn't be checked out.   I hate to paranoid, but ALL of these symptons are and have been present to the point I've changed my diet, but nothing seems to help.
