I have been diagnosed with having an ovarian cyst on my left ovary. My doctor has been monitoring its growth via ultrasound, and despite me being on birth control pills, it is growing instead of shrinking. The doctor wants to do a laparoscopy and possibly an oopherectomy, he said. Could this cyst be cancerous?
my 74 yr old mother has been to hospital for an examination,we have to go back for a scan the doctor thinks she has either an ovarian cyst or a cyst in the womb,i am afraid in a woman her age it may be cancerous, can anyone advise me?
