Ovarian Cysts

I woke up with severe pain in my neck and lower stomach this morning. I have been diagnosed with ovarian cysts(PCOS) and am due to get my period any day after taking 150mg of Clomid. Could you tell me why I would of maybe had this pain? Could it have been one of the cysts bursting? Thank you.
