Ovarian Cysts

I was diagnosed with a complex cyst 6 weeks ago.  I was put On the BC pill to see if it helped- I have a follow up with my OB tomorrow due to my US apt last week.  

The cyst seems simple other than the fact that it has fragments in it which may be blood so they had to call it complex. (this is what the radiologist said during Vaginal US).  The cyst looked totally clear on US until she did the vaginaly part where she found the fragments.  So, it is till there even though I have been on BC pills for 6 weeks.  she said that it decreased in size just a little bit-  couple of questions:

How long does it take for the BC pill to help--I know it is not guaranteed in all cases.

From your knowledge, does it sound like a chocolate cyst?  (fragments)

When I was on infertility drugs.  I had developed a lot of cysts.. and they would put me on birth control to desolve them.  Depending on the cyst.. it would take 1 month worth of Birth Control pills and all the way up to 3 months.  Each time i would get scanned they would be smaller but for them to be gone it would occassionaly take up to 3 month.  I hope this helps
