Ovarian cancer stage 1grade11

I had a TAH/BSO on 3/11/2009. Right ovary had a cyst 12.5cm X 7.5cm x7cm. Diagnosis was as follows:
Tumour has a prominent clear cell component. The tumour appears limited to the ovary with an intact capsule and no tumour on the ovarian surface.( Figo stage 1A). Gyn refered me to Oncologist who indicated that I must have Chemo.
Pre op wash showed no atypical or malignant cells. Post op wash also showed no atypical or malignant cells. There was no spread to agacent organs.  Tumour was confined to right ovary.Do I have to have chemo or can this situation just be monitored with CA125 tests?

I've been keeping up with the ins and outs of this disease for two years last Oct.  
The consensus is that even Stage 1 patients need chemo for the most part. There are few exceptions.  You have Clear Cell which makes the treatment a little harder to treat. That makes your needing chemo all the more important. I too, have Clear Cell, so I've been reading a bit on it for a long time. The chemo is no fun, but it can be tolerated and is so, so important in your long term prognosis.
