Ovaries

I have had my ovaries removed in 2001.  Now they are saying I have a cyst on my right ovary.
Is this possible/

Hi...while I was researcing on the web, I recall...sometime ago...running across someone mentioning something similar.  I do not recall that what I had read was actually posted from a physician or medical article.  That happened to be the only time I recall seeing something about that situation.  There may be some other ladies to come along in a bit who may have more information for you....and you can always post a question in the Dr. forum as well, in order to ask Dr. Goodman...Best wishes...Traci

It may be Ovarian Remnant Syndrome. I don't know much about it but if they leave a little bit of ovarian tissue apparently the ovary can grow back. I think, I really don't know. Check with Dr.'s I guess.
