Ovarion Cyst HELP

For the last 8 months I have been haveing realyl bad abdominal pains and a sore back etc. I went to the docters and they said that I had a Ovarion cyst but that it had exploded.. but i still had the pains and I have work and soccer and school so its become a big problem in my life. I have discharge pain during intercorse and i become very tierd. Im going to go on birth control pills so hopefully that will help. My BIG QUESTION IS: in the past when I do stuff with my boyfriends nothing feels right ... it doesnt feel good, it just feels uncomfortable. could this be because of the cyst... and if it is will it stop when i go on the birth control pill?
Can any1 answer this???

Absolutely get that 2nd opinion from a gyn/onc!  They are specialists and have seen it all.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed

From my own experiences, I would advise you to get a second opinion from a gyn/onc as his specialty is in the reproductive arena.
Pain during entercourse is a sign to be taken seriously, especially coupled with back ache....a simple little cyst can wreak havoc in everyday life.  It definately needs to be checked out.
Keep in touch.
Peace be with you.

From everything I have read, when a cyst ruptures, the pain will subside in a day or two.  If it has  been longer than that, I would either get a second opinion, or demand that your doctor do an ultrasound and a vaginal ultrasound.  This will determine IF your pain is from a cyst and how big it is.  Going on the pill does help some cyst to shrink.  Just remember that you know your body best, and if something does not feel right then you need to let your doctor know.  If he/she is unwilling to help, then find another doctor.  Also remember that 99% of all ovarian cysts are NONcancerous.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers.  Kasie
