How severe is the pain during cervical cancer treatments?

Are you having a LEEP procedure done?? Thats what I had done in 2003. I was put under for it. some womam have it done in the doctors office, but I also had a tubal and was put under for it. The surgery itself its painful as you are asleep. The afterwards is slightly painful. You will have general soreness all over your body if they use carbon gas while doing the surgery. Lay flat afterwards and it will help. Take your pain meds and the it isnt as bad. I had 3 incisions (I had more than one thing done at once) and they were suttured so those areas were very tender. Try not to cough, laugh or sneeze as this will really hurt.

Hope this helps, its only what I know from mine. My sister also had it doen and was fine in a few days.  :)
