Pain in groin or lymph nodes?

Here is another wierd symptom to add to the list.  I have pain that comes and goes in my groin area.  Is this the lymph nodes that are right there?  I had a pelvic exam on Wednesday and have had sharper pains around ovaries and in groin area since the Dr. felt around on the tumor.  Is this normal?  Anyone else with any thoughts on this?

Thanks

i got groin pain too. figured it was either the cyst presssing 0n a nerve or like urbangle said tender ovary. they do say you can get what they call referred pain.a pain that can originate from say the ovary but felt almost anywhere in the abdominal area.

If you have a growth in the pelvic area then you are going to be tender in the groin area. Part and parcel of this whole nightmare is that all these symptoms can be caused by just a regular cyst as well as the other kind.I know,it's torture...just remember 99% 99%..
The stats are with you,

I did have an MRI and they didn't say anything about the lymph nodes, but you know how the imagination goes wild during the wait.  With every symptom I'm trying to figure out why.

Uggh.

Hi,
I too had pain in my groin area on the side where the tumor was.I was worried sick that what I was feeling was my lymph node and had myself convinced it was oc spread to my lymph! Turns out what I was probably feeling was my ovary which, because of the cyst had become very swollen and tender. Have you had a ct scan or mri? These would show swollen lymph nodes.
