Pain in left groin area

by reesecup, Mar 09, 2004 12:00AM
I have had persistent pain in left groin area. I am 43 years old and have had 3 children. After having a ultrasound and mri both showed a 3x2 left ovary witha 2 cm cyst. There was a tiny focus of calcification measuring 3 mm in diameter within the left ovary. A small dermoid could not be excluded and a ct scan was advised by both results. My obgyn said she did not think the pain was obgyn related and ct wouldn't show anything more than the mri or ultrasound. I have sharp pain in  my groin area when I stand long, walk up stairs. It has been two months they say wait and see. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?
