Pain returning after cyst removal

Pain returning after cyst removal

Hi, I am 51 and in April I had to have a 4mm cyst removed from my right ovary.  The ultrasound showed that it was leaking.  The pain was pretty bad but my concern was the nausea, fatigue, breast pain, dizziness and general ill feeling that caused me to have it removed.

Now it is about 10 weeks later and I am feeling the same pain and symptoms as I described above...could a cyst actually grow back that fast?  Or can scar tissue cause this?

I will be calling the Dr. on Monday, I am preparing to leave on a cruise and am hoping I can get in to see her in the next few days.  Any help would be appreciated !  Thank You

HI There,

hopefully you have sorted out this concern. As a general rule, it is important to get a copy of your operative note and pathology report to understand what was done and what was found at surgery?  That way you can know the exact diagnosis.

In general , depending on the type of surgery you have had in the postoperative period, pain can be due to bladder infections, strain on the abdominal incision or abdominal muscle.
take care
