Pelvic Joint Pain/Discomfort

Have any of you experience pelvic joint pain or discomfort?  You know where the joint is on the inside part of your thigh and pelvis.  I get this pain when I first get out of my chair at work, usually if I have been sitting for a while at my desk.  I get up and sort of have a hitch in my giddy-up!  It will stop me in my tracks - it is painful, but not to the point of needing meds.  It only lasts a moment and once I am upright, it is gone.  Anyone know about this?  I had it before my dermoids were out, then it went away, but now it is back - right side only (where only 10% of a poor lonely ovary is).  ARGGGGG!!

Wow, that helps me so much, as my dr. says I need a TAH also.  I see him 5/26 to discuss the procedure and schedule the date.  (I thought maybe I was just getting old and the bones were going, lol)  I will be thinking about you tomorrow - you will need the big underwear and sweat pants - don't forget to get some shorts too!

Yes, I'm having a lot of hip pain but I don't think it's in the same area as you describe.  My pain is on the outside of both hip joints and it only occurs after I've been sitting for awhile.  I have the same problem getting up and getting started but once I'm up it's usually ok.  In fact, I just had an MRI this morning to rule out avasular necrosis which can happend if you take a lot of steroids.  My chemo treatment had me on mega doses of Decadron.  The orthopedic guy thinks it bursitis but doesn't want to take any chances.
