Pelvic/transvaginal ultrasound results

I have had 3 pelvic/transvaginal ultrasounds since May 05 for breakthough bleeding and recent excessive bleeding. The endometrial stripe has measured 12, 15 and 14-mm. I have read that a thick uterine lining may be indicative of precancerous condition. I'm 51 years old and the tests also have detected a hypoechoic mass and a few cyst or fibroids. I  have been wondering if I should be considering  a hyterectomy. I will be scheduling a follow-up appointment with a GYN doctor but I am thinking of surgery to reduce my risks for uterine cancer.
