Please pray for my mom

She might be getting surgery at some point today.  We're waiting for the chemo nurse to call back.  She's supposed to get some type of shunt to naturally drain the ascites.  I can't pronounce the name of it, and I have no clue on how it works.  I looked it up both on the internet and I read the article the nurse gave my mom.  All I can figure out that LESS THAN 100 people had this done (I think 66 people all together had this surgery) and it's not guaranteed to work.

I don't know how much more my mother is supposed to take.  She's about ready to give up.  I can hardly blame her.  I can't encourage her to even stay strong anymore either.  How can I be strong myself?  I'm ready to crack! I AM cracking!  This has been going on since August 2005.  You don't even want to know what I'm thinking right now, because it aint' good.  I'll be staying with her in the hospital, so I can't even update you on her condition.  Just pray for her.  Why I fear the END is near??  I just have a bad feeling about this.

You and your mom are in my prayers.  I wish that no one had to go through this mess.  Godspeed

Christine, I understand what you are going through; my mother battled cancer and I am now doing the same with ovca.  I will keep both of you in prayer.
