Post-Op

Hello, ladies. I had my post-op today from the D&C and hysterscopy. The doctor said that everything was benign. Thank God. She still does not know why I have not had a period in three years and is testing to see if i am premenaposal. I am only 26 years old. She said that she highly doubts it and I will have to go on bcp to regulate me, so she already gave a prescription for that. I am to see her in 3 months. Thanks again for all your advice and prayers. Take care.I will keep in touch and continue to read about everyone's situation.

That's great news! I just was wondering, though, have you given any thought to seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist? They are specialized in the hormonal department and may have more knowledge of what's affecting what. I have actually had 3 thyroid tests because that can affect periods too...but they came back normal each year. But my gyn did bring up the rep. end.
thing to me one time. I just turned 27 this week, so I know the fear you must have about the rare chance that you are premenopausal...I thought I was, but turns out it may be the cyst causing the problems. I hope you get the answers soon!
Take care,
