Post endometrial aspiration biopsy

Post endometrial aspiration biopsy

On 11/24/04 I had a endometrial aspiration biopsy due to two episodes of vaginal spotting.  How long is it normal for me to have spotting and mild cramping following this procedure?  Will it impede my recovery if I do exercises for my back?  These are done on the floor and involve sit-ups, leg raises and stretching exercises.  I did one exercise yesterday and today I am experiencing some mild cramping and my some of my spotting is returning to a more red color rather than the brownish color it was turning yesterday.
I am currently taking .625mg of Cenestin and 1.0 mg of Prometrium daily.  I am a 55 y.o. post memopausal woman. Is it likely that spotting following intercourse be from a thinning in my vagina?  Would my OBGYN see this?  I was taking estrogen tablets that I inserted every week about 1 year ago and this problem went away but then I stopped. I'm concerned about taking HRT and inserting these estrogen pills.  Should I be?
