Post-laporoscopy and feeling GREAT !

Hello everyone ! I had my laporoscopy on wed and as far as i know everything went great. they used a different kind of anestesia for my malignant hyperthermia and I didn't seem to have many problems with it except for a few cold and hot sweats. I am now feeling back to (Almost) normal and besides the shoulder pain I feel great ! I have a follow up appointment in a week and I will then find out what took place during the surgery , I am not sure if they told me already or not ....if they did i think i was in lalaland and didn't hear ...but anyways i just wanted to thank all of you out there who helped me through this, it really means more to me than you will ever know !

quick question .....Is the belly usually swollen ? Mine is huge , is this normal ...I figure i would have a bit of swelling but this is major ...It has given my friends quite a laugh ...all in good humor of course !

God Bless !

Try putting ice packs on the shoulder, they really help.  The swelly belly takes a long time to go down, don't panic.....

Hurray, welcome to then RS.  The swelly belly will be gone in time.  Hot tea works well.  Now get plenty of rest!

Glad to see you on the RS. Just remember to take it easy. Even though you feel back to normal you're still healing on the inside. Take Care!
