Primary peritoneal carcinoma

I had a hysterectomy about 6 years ago. I am now having many ovarian cancer systoms, bloating, gas, constipation and mild lower abdominal pain. My neice who works in the medical field tells me that if she didn't know that I had a complete hyst. she would think that was what my problem is. I have a cousin with ovcancer so am familiar with symtoms.  Even if you have no ovarys can you still have ovarian cancer?

Not following your logic lucymullis. Yes, you can still get PPC but it's very, very rare.  More likely your symptoms are related to something else - IBS and/or lactose intolerance causes all of those symptoms for instance - but the only way to be sure is to be seen by a doctor. At this point, a gyn/oncologist is overkill. Start with a gyno and get some testing done and escalate from there if needed.

Yes, it can occur in the lining of the uterus.  Not having ovaries certainly decreases your chances.  I would recommend you see a gyn/oncologist.
