Primary peritoneal mets to lymph nodes

Can you explain to me WHERE the "prevascular lymph nodes" are?

And also...

  "Posterior to the inferior vena cava in the mid abdomen is a 2.1x 1. ovoid lymph node...more inferiorly and just posterior to the right common iliac vein there is a 1x1 centimeter enhancing lesion...this likely represents metastatic disease to lymph nodes"..........

I understand that I had some lymph nodes that had cancer and I did have chemo for it from Feb. 2008 thru July 2008...
  I will do a follow up PET/CT scan the end of December....

Do you think that this means I may continue to have a spread of my cancer throughout my lymphatic system?  and how long will it be before the next recurrance?  

  I just wanted to get an idea of where to look for these lymph nodes if I were to look at an Anatomy chart..can you help me?

  I am a 2 time breast cancer survivor, BRCA-1 positive...1991 and 1998 when I was 26 and 33 yrs old!
then in Dec 2005 I was diagnosed with the stage 4, grade 3 Primary Peritoneal cancer at the age of 40....I was in remission for 18 months until they found it had spread to 3 lymph nodes in Jan 2008....so far my CA-125 is back down in the normal range at 5.9 !

Congratulations!  You are an amazing woman!  Two time breast cancer survivor and now you have a CA125 of 5.9!  That is wonderful news!  There is no prediction of when a recurrence could happen.  It seems like you could beat this too.  I cannot answer your medical questions but I wanted to cheer you on and give my support!  Maybe someone here can answer your lumph node question or you can ask the Dr. at the "Related Expert Forum" down to the right of this page.  Click on Ovarian Cancer.  It might take a couple of days for her response.  If the page is full try again.  Cindy
