REIKI

Has anyone tried Reiki there was article on the news the other night that there was a study done at the TOM BAker Cancer Centre and patients showed 50% decrease in fatigue in 90% of the patients studies. I am thinking of trying it.

I did a little research on this and was sent to a college web site here in Iowa. They train students in REIKI and TM, there are many web sites that explain the therapy.  I think the reason this works is that when you reduce stress you gain energy. Might try it myself to see if it will reduce my stress and let me sleep better. Keep us posted  if you do attend the school.

Interesting... I have a client of a friends who is trained in doing this and has offered to come to my house and do it for free. I'll be honest, I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to get out of it. Hey, if it's free, I guess I should at least try.

Everytime I go in for my chemo, a group of Reiki practitioner friends of mine send me.  Perhaps this is a reason I don't feel so tired and when I do, I (also a practitione) give myself  a treatment and feel reenergized.
