RISK FACTORS FOR OVARIAN CANCER

Is someone who has had multiple corpus luteum cysts in the past more likely to get ovarian cancer?  I have had a feeling similar to when I had to have surgery for these cysts but it is not the same.  The pain isn't as sharp but is in the same area.  I have a bloated feeling, indigestion often, diarrhea, low back pain, almost constant pain in my lower abdomen and also have gained weight.

On the right hand top of the page you will see, DISCUSSIONS, HEALTHPAGES, MEMBERS.  If you click on the healthpages, go to "Other Ovarian Cancer Sites", go down to Risk Factors and click on that link.  That lists all of the known risk facors from John Hopkins.  You might find some info there also on the corpus luteum cyst thing under "Types of Cysts-Symptoms".  I did not see your cyst type as being on the list of risk factors or any other cyst type for that matter.  There is also an ovarian cyst forum on MedHelp.
