Hi to everyone...Say, I just checked over at the Hysterectomy site and there is a woman who just posted. She is suffering since her hysterectomy in October. It is almost like my brain cannot work properly when I think of that site and I know if I posted again regarding hormones (the bioidentical kind of which the forum operator knows nothing) I will get blasted again. I don't mind standing up for myself, but I have so much dictation to try to finish today and I know I will get worked up if I focus on that site.

Ok, this probably is not fair to you all either, since I think a lot of us get pretty worked up when we go over there.

Any thoughts? I know Mary V. had a very nice way of putting words to cyberspace coaxing others to "c'mon over to the Ovarian Cancer site"...and you put it so well, Mary, in that you are not saying that you think they have cancer, just that we are a cool forum and the person posting may find people who've been through the same things they are going through. Okay, I kind of paraphrased, and since I am, I will add that there is a vibe that Mary and others put out indicating that we are a forum of intelligent and caring women.

It's mid-day Sunday here in Minnesota and no one has responded yet to this woman. I don't mind asking her to come on over here so we can help out, but honestly, if anyone else wants to do it, I will host a big birthday bash on May 12 (when I really turn into Mary 53!!!!!)

I will read the post and see if I can offer anything.  I have been feeling so crappy and sleeping so little that it will help me to try to help someone else.  I was wondering if you had something going on as Ihaven't seen you around and missed you of course!!!  Deb

I am a may 10 baby. I am completely flabbergasted by the answers that were given to the gentleman whose wife was considering hysterectomy. Geez this isnt an over night decision. I hope he is supportive of her regardless of the decision she makes. There is no support over there for those who had hysterectomies they seem bent on making women feel bad for a decision that many times ( certainly more than 2 percent) can not be helped. I was almost tempted to post my own question can everyone remind me all at once not to be obnoxious

Hi, just a quick note to let you know that I am planning on going on the MSN site (and with that site and this site and the hysterectomy forum site, I probably have everyone site-confused) but, I think I am going to have my good friend help me and I am not sure when we will be able to get together...Mid sent me the link which I appreciated, but as soon as I clicked it, it did the same thing that always happens when I try to go there by putting the address in my browser...I got kicked off AOL. And, I had no luck going through Internet Explorer, but I suspect I did something wrong when I attempted to use Internet Explorer.

Oh, I get it, it's a conspiracy...right?...You guys don't really want me on there....Is THAT IT????

Oh ....I am laughing out loud....you guys crack me up!  Like a swarm of killer bees....go get 'em!   CAT FIGHT!!!   I must admit, I too could not resist kicking the tires a bit.  I intend to visit that place on a regular basis now that I know it exists....I am so compuer un-savy it is sad.

Mary you know we LOVE you .... the site is cute because there are pictures of most everyone, which helps my fuzzy brain....

plus we can vent and chat with no "stupervision"  (teacher term) I also liked "Meet the Creature Night"  I actually got in trouble for saying that, can you believe it?  

Maybe try and get on at the library or some other computer????

I was sorry to hear you are not feeling any better and maybe even a little worse. Darn. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I can offer a ((((HUG)))) but, wish I could offer you a day that is totally pain-free. It will come!

Mid just sent me the link for the other site. I am going to show up there one of these days. I promise. I will try again hopefully tonight (I am avoiding dictation at the moment) but if I cannot make it on, I will enlist the help of my dear friend/neighbor/computer genius across the street.

We are going to have to have more than one birthday bash in cyberspace this month. May is a great month for a birthday, isn't it?

My Father-in-law's birthday was on May 10. He passed away in 1984, (My husband and I got married in 1980) but it was always a fun week when the 10th and 12th of May rolled around.

I'm glad you found us on this site. I had an unbelievable time after responding to a post over there about 3 - 4 weeks ago. I'd never posted a question there, but was just offering some answers for a woman needing help post-hysterectomy. Not sure what I would have done if I'd not been able to vent and alert people over here. I was so frustrated. Everyone over on this site was so supportive. What a great group!....as you know!
