RavenLady - please tell me more

Well I am back from the hospital - no surgery today for me because once again (happened in November) I am running a temperature.  Long story short, it could once again be a virus or quite possible my meds I take for my hyperthyroidism.  Either way, surgery was not safe and I thank God for taking care of me because I just did not have a peace about having it done today.  When I went to post my return, I noticed Mary's post about her lap being an epidural and I had already been thinking how great one of those would seem to be for me because of the anesthesia concern.  So I would love to know more about yours before I call my Dr to see if that would be a possible choice for me.  Thanks so much and thanks for all the prayers - I feel they have been answered.  Just like my nurse said, God's timeline for surgery for me wasn't today.  Jaque, I am praying to hear good reports from you soon.  Jamie
