I know it is scary but I really think you have every chance of having no further problems - have a search on google for Borderline or Non Invasive Ovarian cancer.
Thanks for your info..
I do understand what you are saying. But i would like to put my hand up for them to learn more about this disease as what they are finding is women who get this are a lot younger 20's and 30's but are more likely to get invasive tumour in their 40's plus so i think more needs to be done and the reason they are currently just observing it is not because it does nothing it causes chronic pain and does spread through the body its because they dont know how to treat it and a small percentage do turn invasive so it is not entirely true to say its not life threatening. They are also finding women with invasive OVCA also have noninvasive implants when they get the debulking done.
Although i already class myself a survivor i want to help research and other women. so if anyone does know of clinical trials i would be more than happy to research them further.
I did a trial for 8 months last year titiled " A Phase II Study in Platinum Resistant Ovarian Tumors and Micropapillary/Borderline (LMP) Ovarian Tumors". I have micropapillary serous carcinoma which, like a borderline tumor, is low grade and does not respond well to chemo. Unfortunately my tumors are very much an aggressive cancer so waiting and watching is not an option for me. The trial was hard...every thrid week, for 5 days I would be infused with this PXD101 stuff. The side effects were tolerable but in the end, my cancer grew so I was released and have moved on to another type of drug. I understand your frustration...there really isn't much out there for borderline tumors which can behave like cancer, in that they can reccur and spread. My doctor did tell me that they acknowledge that there is a need for treatment options for LMP/Borderline tumors, but until things start emerging, you have to be vigilant and watch out for new trials. I hear what your saying about wanting reassurance that they won't come back and turn invasive, but if your wanting to participate in a clinical trial, no one will guarantee you anything. A trial is just like all the other drugs out there...they work well for some and no so well for others...
Best of luck...
Becky
p.s. I don't know if you've looked at the clinical trials website? I don't know the exact address, but if you Google Clinical trials, it should take you there...
Your chances of ending up with invasive tumours are quite low I believe and there is probably no point in treating something that may never happen. So monitoring is probably the best treatment

All the best.
