WOW!  Way below the belt and plain and simple uncalled for. Shame on you.

That is unpleasant and uncalled for.

Shame, Shame on you. Your comment was totally out of line & unnecessary. Please take a chill pill & get over it.

Simplystar was just trying to **** you off enough to get you to possibly forget your anxiety and get through the surgery.  Even if you were angry, you may not be so freaked out.  My anxiety issues come from being more anxious about freaking out than actually freaking out- Sounds odd but you could be more scared of the anxiety of everything than the surgery itself.  I wonder if your dr. could set up your surgery and not tell you until the day before and you wouldn't have as much time to worry?

I think you just joking  (with  a nurse staff)...
No reason to say any bad words about SStar. I personly like her. She always have very good advise for everyone. I feel sometimes, she is my mother too...
Please gma if you feel stress out just walk away... We are happy to help you, support you, if you try to help yourself too! Good luck for you... Sue

Thanks for the support ,  I am old enough to let these kind of things roll off of me like oil.   I am not backing off,  just digging in, I have my own problem to deal with now and am working through the stages, so as to help my daughter  fight her recurrance. There is nothing more important in life than to be truthful to yourself and others.  I will try to be here for those of you that need me as I need you.

SimplyStar's daughter's cancer came back...does that not warrant a reality check for you, GMA?
Good luck with everything....
Don't worry about Leslee, Star.... she's one strong woman and as much as it's sucks to have to do this again, you know that she can.
Peace to everyone...
Becky

This all started from a nasty and uncalled previous post from Simply Star. I have never been out of line or nasty or anything to anyone on here. I have every right to be upset with the post that she created. I am very sympathetic when it comes to people..I lost my mother to cancer and understand the stress and overwhelming feelings that go along with illness and stress..if my posts were uncalled thats because simplystar has created that when she called me "silly attention seeking woman" as far as this post goes...I am ending it now...I have bigger fish to fry right now and I can see so does everyone else that are on here. I am extremely thankful for the support, prayers and everything given to me on here.

Simple Star is one of the best things that has happened to this forum and I have been posting here for over a year.  She is extremely knowlegable, which comes from her years as a nurse as well as being full of compassion.

I too for many years struggled with anxiety and was meds for it.  Reality is, you are allowing your anxiety to control your life, and that's not good.  We on this forum can help you get thru the surgery and/or any additional required treatments related to Ovarian health.  Most of us have not experienced the anxiety you are having and therefore are not able to help you thru that portion of your fears.  I think she gave an excellant suggestion about posting on the anxiety forum.

Please GMA, do not put off your surgery.....it is important...the fear of the unknown is the worst and is creating additional anxiety.

I thank you for your truthful post. I am not upset with the suggestions of simplystar but I am upset about the comment she has made about me "silly attention seeking woman" suggestions are always welcome and helpful . isn;t that what this forum is all about..I am open to advise otherwise I would not post here but "name calling is unnecessary" ....thank you...I too have ovarian issues otherwise I wouldn't be posting here..so I am putting this behind me and working on the necessary steps to a healthier and calmer future.

SimplyStar I am so sorry that Leslee has recurred.

gma--good luck with your surgery. I posted above to you.

Also I hate to say I had to laugh on your comment because a lot of nurses are a h___ of a lot smarter than the doctors!!!!!

Spolied Brat.....don't think so! Surely that is not a childish response...you do not know anything about me...If you read my other posts I have asked not to address this again...I would appreciate it if you can do the same!

This is the second time I have been shocked by the childish responses of some people on this forum.  I suggest you go back and read what you said ...you sound like a spoiled brat. I appreciate all the information that SimplyStar as well as others have to share in this forum. I think you have forgotten that ALL of us here are in the same boat as you and attacking people on this forum does not accomplish anything.  Don't let your emotions control your actions!!!

by Kimchi, Apr 05, 2007 12:00AM
When I get on this forum, I start at the bottom and work my way up to present.  You keep justifying your behavior by posting more about it  We all suffer from anxiety. Posponing your surgery only adds to your anxieties as it should be your most important issue to resolve. Unanswered health questions eat at you till you actually have answers. Have your prioritized your issues?

by gma718, Apr 05, 2007 12:00AM
To: kimchi
yes, issues are prioritized!
