Scared from findings on examination.

Hi last wednesday I went to the OBGYN and had a pelvic exam and rectrovaginal exam . It hurt so bad I was in so much pain with that, what ever she was touching I felt like I was gona die. Mind you I was in no pain  before that, anyways she told me that she felt a (she thought)  cyst on my ovaries and fullness or swelling between my ovaries, (I had a hysterectomy a while ago so I have no uterus but both ovaries)So she immediatly got me in for a transvaginal sonogram and regular sonogram. (the next day Thursday)  The transvaginal hurt real bad too, I asked the tech what she was hitting and she said it was my bowel and it was in front of my ovary. My question is 1. why would this hurt so bad and I never had any pain until then. 2nd could this be ovarian cancer? with all the reading up I am doing it kind of looks like it and Im driving my self nuts over it.3rd Can a cyst cause this pain and swelling? I was in pain until today( Monday) I had back pain and I felt sick to my stomach I thought because of all the pokeing and proding from the exam . Today I feel good and no more pain.  Also I did have a cyst removed from my ovary when I had a hysterectomy which turned out to be benign. 4th COuld this be adhesions? Im sorry to ask so much questions but with all the reading up it says the transvaginal and pelvic exams dont hurt but mine did bad .. Thanks in advance for all you do for people .

Hi , thanks for your response, another question what else could the pain be  when they did both test? I have been looking every where and I cant find a thing. I have been having problems with bowel movements but thought nothing of it. I would feel I would need to have a bowel movement then I would only go little and then I would finish in  a couple of hours because I knew some was still in there>(sorry kind of gross). In fact the doctor asked me if I had problems with my bowels after examination. So when the tech did my transvaginal she said she was pushing on my bowel and that is what hurt the worst, it was in my left side.  Thanks so much for your quick response I am so sorry to keep asking questions . I did call the nurse and cant get anything from her in fact as of today my results didnt come in. From last Thursday and with the urgancy to have that test you would think they would of told me something. And the test is done in the same hospital
