Scared it's Ovarian Cancer

3 ultrasounds  June, 2010:   3.3 x 2.9 x 2.8 cimilar to 3.1x 3.0 x 2.8 in Oct 2008.  No longer cystic in appearance but may represent hemorrhave within a cyst.  Margins are smooth in outline..  September 2010:  "There is a dominant follicle on the right ovary with no ovarian cysts or mas lesions seen.  Irregular cyst on the left ovary measuring 2.3 x 2.2 cm that is slightly smaller than was seen in June 2010 and there is a small vascularized echogenic nodule.  It has decreased in size from previously and I am not sure if this is physiological or not.  Although there is a nodule within the wall it has shown slight decrease in size.  Then January 2011:  " In the left adnexal region is a heterogeneous cystic and solic mass lesion which measures up to 3.9 x 3.6 x 2.7 cm.  Additional targeted exam at this site demonstrated areas of internal color flow on Doppler  exam.  The size of this lesion has enlarged from previous exam.  This lesion appears to either abut or arise as an exophytic lesion from the left ovary.  In the right adnexl region is a cystic lesion with two thick septations.  This is favored to represent a septated cystic lesion rather than three adjacent simple cysts due to the thickness of the septa.  There is equivocal flow in the septa on color Doppler exam.  No free intradominal fluid is identified:  Impression:  Complex partially cystic partially solid left aenexl mass with internal vascularity.  This is suspiscious for a neoplasm .  Septated cystic lesion in the right adnexa, with relatively thick septations containing equivocal color flow.  This is also suspicious for a possible neoplasm."  +CA 125 blood tests done:  56; 50; 78 and last week 35. 48 years old  hysterectomy 4 years   I have no symptoms.   I am aware of the cysts but not bothered by them.  Is this ovarian cancer?

Hi There
thank you for your complete information
the only way to make a diagnosis of ovarian cancer is to remove the ovary with the cyst and have it analyzed
most cysts are not cancerous
but diagnosis only comes with surgery
you should have a discussion with your doctor about the pros and cons of surgical intervention
best wishes
