Scary dream

I've been having symptoms for over a year. It started with abdominal pain. I went to gyno they did a US which showed cysts. They were called normal by the tech and my gyno. They suggested an internist. Blood work ok other than anemia and hemoglobin. After continuous complaining of abdominal pain and weight loss they did a CT. CT showed mildly enlarged lymphnodes in abdomen. Not pathological by size but prominent in number. Radiologist suggested follow up in 4 mths if no additional symptoms. I started feeling sick running fevers weeks at a time leg pain, bloating, fatigue ...more blood tests. This time shows mono. Months later blood tests neg for mono so they say i'm in the clear. In the meantime I'm sent to hematologist for anemia etc. they do a PET scan. Mild uptake in neck thought to be fatty tissue and uptake in female organs especially ovaries. Because of my age it is noted as normal was there is always activity there in a menstruating women. CT scan 6 months ago showed a small amount of free fluid in my pelvis and same lymphnodes. I am a relatively thin 27 yr old and I look 5 months prego but only in my lower abdomen. I have severe pain at times that brings me to the ground. Lately I'm having bladder leakage and have started bleeding after sex. I have run a low grade fever for more than a year. The gas is unbearable. I pick up every little bug. The last turned into pneumonia and a 4 day hospital admittance. My gyno says these cysts that have been there over a year are nothing to worry about. I'm wondering at what point are they not cysts and something else.

The dream involved a loved one who passed away touching my belly and pointing to a spot. he never said anything, just held his hand over that area. In my dream as he moved his hand around in certain places the pain was excrutiating. He'd move and the pain would go away. I woke up sweatting and now have this feeling of dread but because I've been to the dr and they tell me that I'm only 27 it's not a big deal and that "IF" i want to do a laparoscopy they will. Ummm hello why would I make that decision if they're the dr's? I have confirmed endometriosis since age 20. I feel like the dr's think I'm wasting their time.
Thanks for any support.

I agree ckeck with another doctor.  I waited too long and found myself at stage 3.  While I have come through and everything is well now early detection regardless what the diagnois is better than putting things off.  I will be praying that this is all as these doctors say, nothing, yet it confirmation by another doctor will releave any stress you are experiencing now.

Have you looked at Dr Johanna Budwigs website?  Also have you researched Flax Seed adn Flax Seed Oil?  We find Barleans to be the best product.  Both my husband and I have gone through this cancer battle and I am not giving up.  Had surgery 1 year ago, doctor was amazed at my results.  While I am convinced that God allowed me to come through he also gives us wisdom on what to eat and to to eat.  I mean why do we eat things that eat things that we would not eat and then wonder why we are sick?  There are reasons why he said not to eat certain things, they were intended to clean the world of the plutents that are out there.  Have you had your PH balance checked?  What about your oxygen level, have you tried to increase this.  There are many natural herbs that can help here. Thank you. I have to take care of this and I will I am also in TN and honestly have had issues since I started my period at age 12. My 3rd period I was at a friends house and I was imobolized by the pain. They took me to ER where they swore I had an appendicitis it wasn't. My abdomen was filled will fluid they said a cyst had ruptured. Then a lap diagnosed severe endo. I had a "false" abnormal pap that they said was a mistake and all follow up only shows inflammation. I'm trying not to let it consume me b/c odds are it's not cancer. However, being in this situation makes me realize how easily people are misdiagnosed for years. It's almost as if tests aren't necessary b/c of my age or that my mother (who is only 46) hasn't had the disease or a sister. And as I'm teling them these symptoms they sau you need to get pregnant it'll get rid of the endo. I've had confirmed endo for years and never experienced bleeding/bloating and this type of gas and pain. I did have bad gas once while on Lupron (i've done it 2 X) anyway, it's nice to be here with people who understand. i'm going shopping. Is there a live chat place here?

Please find a new Doc ASAP.  Even if it is just a GP they can refer you to a GYN/ONC if need be.  You are NEVER to young to get any disease especially with your family history.  Don't let them make you wait until it is to late.  My mom died of OVCA, & 4 of my 5 sisters had it. They live near Johns Hopkins and all started having transvaginal US when they hit 30.  They were all caught @ stage 1.  I live in TN and didn't really know about TUS' until I was stage 3c.  This is nothing to screw around with.  I am only 6 mths out from my last chemo and it has reared it's ugly head again.  STAND UP FOR YOU!!!!!!  Fever is not mentioned by the powers that be as a symptom, but it sure the hell is. Also, no O Cyst is JUST a cyst.  That's how it started with me (7 times, 5 surgeries) and now my 25 yr old daughter is on her 3rd round of cysts.  Find a new dr, try not to stress, do something fun today!  You are in my prayers.

No...he won't do a Ca125 When I try to tell him that someting is wrong he says well if there is it's not a female related problem. I say what about the cysts that have been there. They're normal. My grandmother and great aunt paternally had ovarian cancer and breast cancer. He doesn't seem to care or think it matters, The other Drs lean towards something gynecological every single time I see them. I guess I will change drs. I'm starting not to be able to lay on my stomach when I sleep b/c I feel pressure. I'm beginning to hate going to the dr. It's almost like just b/c they can not find a problem it can't exist. That seems an incredibly ignorant logic and it pisses me off. Sorry....I'm on a mission today to find a new gyno. So you say with these symptoms if they do a laparoscopy to have a gyn/onc present. I had a lap in 2000 that showed endo extensively. They couldn't get to most of it b/c of it's location but I never thought at 27 I'd be feeling that something is this wrong. I don't even know what i think is wrong but it's someting and I suppose I'm the only one who can find out. Sorry to ramble I've just been going through this for some time. Maybe my age has prevented me from really shouting out Oh no you are not patting me on the head and brushing me off. What's next.
Thaks for your response!!

i'm twice your age, but some drs pass off things they should't. my gynecologist sat on my hospital bed after a ct showed ill defined inflammation, and he said he was off the case i did not have any female cancer or problem. the vaginal and abdominal ultrasound showed nothing. 2 days later, my gastroent did a colonoscopy that was clear , so he ordered a laproscopy.i had stage 3c primary peritoneal cancer, with ovary and female organs all involved.that was may 06. my ca 125 was 275.i didn't  know ovarian cancer didn't show on pap smears, that i was o.k. there. what a shock i got .you do what you feel is right, you know your body. has anyone done a ca125? hopefully you have another problem, but i wish i had known this existed and the signs and tests.best wishes.
