Ok Ladies, here is the situation, I had a hyster in 2001, a cyst removed on left ovary in 04, left ovary and cyst removed in 05, bladder/urter reimplantation 5 days later in 05, right ovary removed in April of this year. About 4 weeks after surgery, I started having the same pains I had every time I have had cysts. Went to dr. and she said that it was just my body healing from surgery. Went back 2 weeks later, and she sent me to see the general surgeon who assisted her. He had me on an AdvilAdvil Advil allergy sinus Advil childrens Advil childrens allergy sinus Advil cold and sinus Advil junior strength Advil liquigel Advil migraine Advil multi-symptom cold Advil pediatricroutineRoutine sputum culture (1 pill 3 times a day) that did not help. Still had pain and was getting stronger. Sent me to have gallbaldder tests done, and it came back boarderline abnormal. Said to lets just let things ride, but it was possible I have ORS. He then sent me back to my gyn who ordered a MRI (thought it could be a herniatedHerniated nucleus pulposus disk and wanted me to see my pcp for the results). Saw my pcp and he said that I have a buldging disk, but nothing to cause the cramping like pain that I have. He ordered a tvus and there was a mass noted by my bladder (all of my cysts and ovaries were adheared to my bladder, bowels, and colon)and sent me to see a gyn/onc. At initial visit, she said that she thought when a cyst was removed that the contents spilled so she wanted a CT-scan. Had it done, and when I went back for follow up visit, she said she was not sure what it is and wanted another CT-scan done with contrast. Had it done on Monday, and today I went back to see her. She said the mass is very close to the bladder but not attached and that my bladder and kidney were functioning fine.
sorry I ran out of room. Anyway, she said that she wanted to send all of the films to my Urologist whe did the bladder surgery to see if it could be from that surgery (do not know why she is doing this, bucause she stated many times that she doesn't think he will think it is from the bladder surgery). She said that if he does not think it is related to my bladder surgery, then she is going to call my gyn and see what she wants to do. I am so mad and frusterated that I keep getting the runaround. I am going to call my gyn myself tomorrow and tell her that I want something done NOW!! I am so sick of being in pain and of having tests. Has anyone else had this happen? Please give me some advice! Kasie
