Septation in a cyst

I was just diagnosed with numerous ovarian cysts. (through an emergency room visit due to EXTREME pain) Some large some small.  The report said a good portion have Septation.  Now I have looked in some medical books and they suggested that septation in a cyst is more likely to be cancerous than not?  My physician suggested we watch them for a couple of cycles and then make the decision on whether to remove the ovary or not.  Can you please explain septation.  Thank you for your time!
