She looks great.

Well I saw mom today. She looks great. Her wig looks great. She looks better than she has in a long time...even BEFORE the surgery. She is in good spirits, though Im sure she has her moments. But most of all, she knows she has 1000% support from every member of the family and she has no doubt that we all love her incredibly much.

My question is...is this enough to help her live many more years? I mean sometimes doctors dont even know why some patients make it and some do not. So Im wondering if all these other good things nudge my moms chances up a bit?

I was happily surprised when I saw her today - she honestly looked great.

I don't have an answer for you, but I just wanted to say good luck to your mom and your family. I hope and pray she stays with you for a long time to come, I can tell you aren't ready to let her go. ((((BIG HUGS))))

Well I always hear about the power of positive thinking.  And now there is absolutely no doubt in my mothers mind that we all love her dearly.  In all honesty, she has a lot to live for and look forward to in life.  Im hoping this makes all the difference in the world.

She has her 3rd treatment next week and she says she wont know how she feels the several days after that.  But she is a fighter and an emotionally strong and brave woman.

I have to believe all this will make a difference for her.

I agree it is so good to hear you sounding more positive.  Stay focused on how great she looks and not on the cancer and that can only help her!  Good luck!
