Should I go have this looked at?

Should I go have this looked at?

My incision was oozing yellow-greenish stuff in the hospital but has been getting slowly less and less....but it's still oozing and I'm just wondering if it's normal to keep doing this for awhile?  I remember when I had my ectopic pg a looooooong time ago, the incision got infected and I ended up needing to have it drained.  Don't really want to do that again.  The staples are still in and the area doesn't seem to be particularly red, no fever,  but now I've got ooze on the hubby's tighty-whiteys *grin*

Thanks,

Julie

Does anyone remember the mention of "wild oregano oil"?  I wonder if it really works.  Maybe it is worth the try.  Sending hugs.

More than a couple of drops is of concern.  Any redness and heat from incision site is also an issue.  For your sanity, call and ask what the nurse at the office thinks or call the ward clerk listed on your discharge papers justs to be sure.

Thanks everyone.  It's not oozing alot - just a little in 2 places.    There is a little odor but very little redness and no fever.  I'll be calling the nurse when she gets in in an hour.

Thanks for the input.

For what it's worth, for keeping it dry my nurse suggested a hair dryer on low setting after showering...
