Should I keep my one ovary w/cyst due hysterectomy

47 y/o, multiple fibroids, largest 7x5x5 cm and 2.5 cm cyst on my one and only ovary.  Other ovary removed 30 yrs. ago for benign cyst.  Lap hysterectomy is scheduled for next month.  Other than mod. ovulation pain of ovary, do I have it removed during hysterctomy?  No history of ovarian or other ca in family.  No heart disease in me.  This cyst has grown since last ultrasound 3 years ago.  Thank you!

I would base a decision on what kind of cyst you have on your ovary. If just a cyst of ovulation, leave the ovary alone - you need it. If endometriosis or a tumor of the ovary, take it out
