How are you doing??? You must not be able to get around much with one leg and one arm broken.  How is Leslee doing with her chemo and did hse get her pet scan results yet??Hope you are both healing fast...send us some news.

I saw this post and I thought, too, hey, where is Marty? Then I recalled her mentioning something about being gone for awhile. I particularly recall that she said she would be out of town when I had my surgery (June 7)....but I was not sure when she would be returning.

I found an old post from a few weeks ago and she did mention that she was going to be gone for awhile visiting family in Arizona and that she would not have access to a computer. Anyway, thought I would volunteer that information in case you were worried.

What a nice group we all have here!

Well I got home today, flights are rough with casts but I made it.  Leslee gets her first results tomorrow to see if the trial is working.  My neighbor is coming in to help me with some of the things I can't manage yet, should get casts off in 2 weeks if all goes well.  Thanks for your kind thoughts while I was gone, missed you all and hope all of you are doing better. Lawyer and insurance company got the settlement started, they put the guy that hit me in jail and will probably do time in prison  after a trial, long record of DUI.  Sons are looking for a new car for me.

So glad to hear from you...Yes they had better lock him up and through away the key with that kinda record.  You are truly being watched over to have survived what sounds like a terrible accident (your car being totaled).  .  I had a broken leg and was on crutches off and on for almost 3 years...Used my office chair as a wheelchair and put a bath seat in the toilet so that I could sit down and shower and still use it today.. set up your home so you can maneuvre easily make your house. Hope to hear good news re Leslee Welcome home!!!
