Sonolucent Structure within Ovary

My mother passed away with ovarian cancer at 66 within 3 weeks of diagnosis.  She was in and out of hospital 6 months prior under testing of an ongologist.  She also had breast cancer, 20 years prior as well as my aunt and my paternal grandmother.

I had ovarian grapefruit sized cyst rupture with emergency surgery in my late teens.  My left ovary was removed due to constant ache and problems later.  I have been on progesterone over past year @ 10 days per mo. with still period problems due to estrogen dominance.  My cycles would go from heavy and painful to skipping 60 days or so. I stopped taking this 2 months ago and have not had a period since.

I am 48. Have uterine fibroids and now have bloating, feeling full, am gassy with indegestion, heartburn (never had before ever),slight naseau, slight loss of appetite and abdominal growth with weight gain.  I feel uncomfortable miserable in the middle.  I recently had transvaginal ultra soundwhich shows 3.8 x 2.9 cm ovary measurement with a sonolucent structure within the ovary measuring 2.2 cm. There is a smaller hypoechoic structure demonstrating low level echoes.  There is no free fluid within the cul de sac. Blood tests reveals C125 at 24.3 and CEA at 2.2.

I am scheduled for another transvaginal ultrasound mid February.

I am concerned of lightening striking twice due to the fact my mother never evidenced elevated CA125 until late, if at all.

Should I be doing anything other than waiting until mid February for another ultrasound?  I have not physically been examined since March.
