Sore breasts

Are sore breasts an indication of anything?  It's not time for my period. As a matter of fact I just finished a week or so ago, this should be my "good" time but, my breasts have been very sore along with my other pains.  Do cysts or endometriosis cause sore breats?  I go for an ultrasound Tuesday. Thanks so much. This sight is a wealth of information and understanding.

I must sound like a know it all, but I posted somewhere else that I had lumps, pain, discharge from left nipple areola has got larger one side and I have gone up two cup sizes - I have seen the breast specialist and apparently, it's all hormonal and will resolve once I have had the laproscopy.  Hope this is of some comfort. Pain was a lot worse about 4 weeks ago, 4 weeks after ruptured cyst, but discharge and lumps gone now - just tenderness and larger cup size.

I have had problems also with sore, swollen breasts ever since I was told I had a complex ovarian cyst that ruptured 7 weeks ago. Now the doct thinks I might have endometriosis, but won't know for sure until he does laparoscopy on me next week. I have tried to research what could be causing my breast swelling and soreness but I haven't been able to find anything that says for sure if it could be related to the cyst, endometriosis, or to some other female problem. I will be interested to hear what your doct finds next week.
