Still looking for comments on the endometrial thickening I am worried about

I seem to be the only one today not getting any help with my worries.  Maybe no one knows about my concerns.

Ultrasound showed possible endometrial hyperplasia of 23 mm.  The report states the thickening is worrisome and needs furthur workup to exclude  endometrial neoplasm.

Does anyone know if this is a lot of thickening?  Any info would help.  Biopsies done last Friday.
My A.M. question got no response.

Hi, if I am following your post correctly, you had an endometrial biopsy done on friday and are awaiting results? My friend had the same thing and her biopsy came back fine, so she opted for a D&C.

Have you had  a second opinion?  Given your situation and  level of concern, it would make you feel better about your choices and decisions if you had  a second opinion from a professional.

Welcome to the site!  I am scheduled for a tvh on 6/27.  I too have thickening of the uterus, my dr. thinks that it is adenomyosis and the only way to get rid of it & dx it is to remove the uterus.  I am fine with this since I am 46 and have my family.  It can be a tough decision to make, but we are here for you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed

Thank you LindaF.  The Dr. said he would start me on HRT (natural cream Progesterone) and either a D&C or a hysterectomy.  The Dr. thinks a hysterectomy might be a little radical.  Any thoughts?  Thanks again.
