Successful Laparoscopy

Hi Ladies,

Had my Lap done this AM and all went well.  The suspicious complex cyst was taken and checked during surgery as well as many other areas that were checked just to make sure. Results were negative for cancer!!  They did remove the one ovary that the cyst was on due to it being unhealthy.  I chose to keep the other.

Mickey has been an encourager on the list here by her story and I hope mine gives some hope also about these *scary* complex cysts that grow within us.

I also have small cysts in my breasts in which a breast surgeon keeps a close eye on during the year.  I will be watched very closely for my breast cysts and ovarian cysts for the rest of my life which comforts me.  WE *have* to keep up on this stuff...so please do not put off heading to the doctor when something does not feel write.  How often to we all read that suggestion on these forums!!

Be well ladies
